Cannabis (commonly called marijuana)

Cannabis is the scientific name for the plant that many people simply call marijuana, weed, pot, or bud. Throughout High at 60, we may use cannabis and marijuana interchangeably because they refer to the same plant.

What is cannabis?

Cannabis is the marijuana plant. The dried flower from that plant is commonly called flower, bud, or weed.

But flower is only one form of marijuana. After the plant is grown and harvested, it can be sold as dried flower or processed into oils, concentrates, vape cartridges, foods, drinks, butter, tinctures, capsules, and other products.
